Our goal as Destination Mobile GmbH (“we” or “DayCaddy”) is to protect your privacy and to inform you how your information is used. In order to offer you a full range of our services, we need to collect relevant information about you. However, we won’t share these information with any other company or person, as long as it is not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. Personal information that you provide us

Identification information:
While registering your user account, you provide us personal information such as your name, email address and password. If you communicate with us via email, we may archive the contents of your mail, your email address and our responses. We may also archive messages that you send through the DayCaddy Service.

Usage information:

DayCaddy sends to your smartphone a “cookie” that contains a unique identification number. We use this cookie to be able to offer you a smooth experience and to document how our service is used. A cookie does not collect personal information about you, but can provide us anonymous information about your surfing habits on our service. This session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close the application DayCaddy.

IP addresses and logins:
We document every visit to the service. A log entry may contain information that can usually be found in the header of your browser, for example the type of browser you are using, your IP address, date, and time. We may also register the identification number of your cookie and the URL of the last viewed services. This log information are important for security, auditing, quality improvement, and monitoring the status of our service. The log information, insofar as they are not needed for billing purposes, are made anonymous as soon as they are no longer needed for the above mentioned purposes.

How will your information be used by us

We will not send you spam mails

We will only send you information that are directly related to your use of DayCaddy. You have control over when and how (e.g. email, sms, etc.) we send you most messages.

By sharing your email address with dayCaddy, you agree that we will use it to send you the service related notifications, including those legally required, instead of traditional letters. You also agree that we will send you to the specified email address the notifications about service’s activities, in accordance with all applicable privacy settings.

DayCaddy can send you other messages in the operation of our service, for example updates about service changes and features as well as important news which could affect your usage of DayCaddy. These messages will be considered as being directly related to your use of DayCaddy.

After the removal or suspension of your member’s account DayCaddy may keep your profile information and user content for a commercially appropriate time for backup, archive or verification purposes or to maintain or improve the service (also user content). DayCaddy may also keep your data if we are obligated by the law or a binding regulations to do so, whereas the duration of data retention is specified by the respective legal requirements.

How do we share your information

Personally identifiable information:
DayCaddy will not sell or lease your personally identifiable information to any third parties. As part of the partnerships with other companies, we may share information about you to offer you more services related to DayCaddy. DayCaddy is allowed to authorize third-party advertising servers or -networks to advertise on our service. These third-party advertising servers or networks use methods that send the links and advertisements that you see on DayCaddy directly to your browser. When this happens, you automatically receive your IP address. They may also use other methods (such as cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons) to determine the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize advertising content. However, we cannot assure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit through DayCaddy at your own risk. Once we receive the transfer of your information, DayCaddy makes an effort in a commercially reasonable framework to guarantee the security of our systems. Note though that this is not a guarantee that information is not accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by the rupture of our physical, technical and administrative backup procedures.
