Personal information that you provide us
While registering your user account, you provide us personal information such as your name, email address and password. If you communicate with us via email, we may archive the contents of your mail, your email address and our responses. We may also archive messages that you send through the DayCaddy Service.
DayCaddy sends to your smartphone a “cookie” that contains a unique identification number. We use this cookie to be able to offer you a smooth experience and to document how our service is used. A cookie does not collect personal information about you, but can provide us anonymous information about your surfing habits on our service. This session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close the application DayCaddy.
IP addresses and logins:
We document every visit to the service. A log entry may contain information that can usually be found in the header of your browser, for example the type of browser you are using, your IP address, date, and time. We may also register the identification number of your cookie and the URL of the last viewed services. This log information are important for security, auditing, quality improvement, and monitoring the status of our service. The log information, insofar as they are not needed for billing purposes, are made anonymous as soon as they are no longer needed for the above mentioned purposes.
How will your information be used by us
We will not send you spam mails
We will only send you information that are directly related to your use of DayCaddy. You have control over when and how (e.g. email, sms, etc.) we send you most messages.
By sharing your email address with dayCaddy, you agree that we will use it to send you the service related notifications, including those legally required, instead of traditional letters. You also agree that we will send you to the specified email address the notifications about service’s activities, in accordance with all applicable privacy settings.
DayCaddy can send you other messages in the operation of our service, for example updates about service changes and features as well as important news which could affect your usage of DayCaddy. These messages will be considered as being directly related to your use of DayCaddy.
After the removal or suspension of your member’s account DayCaddy may keep your profile information and user content for a commercially appropriate time for backup, archive or verification purposes or to maintain or improve the service (also user content). DayCaddy may also keep your data if we are obligated by the law or a binding regulations to do so, whereas the duration of data retention is specified by the respective legal requirements.
If you wish so during a support call, the DayCaddy Support Team can verify your personal information to help you ensure security benefits where the law requires it and to resolve or diagnose problems with our service.
How do we share your information
Personally identifiable information:
In the development process of our company, we may buy assets or business offers of other companies. Customer, mail and visitors information is generally one of the transferred assets in such transactions. We may also transfer or transmit such information in the course of business transfers, mergers, or disbanding.
Any personal information or content that you voluntarily publish on our service to disclose, for example user content, shall be made available to the public as governed by applicable privacy settings. If you remove the information you have posted on the service, copies could remain in archived pages of the service or other users may have copied or saved this information.
Sharing your information with business partners; extended offer
We may share non-personally identifiable information with interested third parties (for example anonymous usage data, access and exit of pages and URLs, different platforms, number of clicks, etc.) to make usage patterns for certain DayCaddy services clear to them.
How we protect your information
DayCaddy uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative and technical security procedures in order to preserve the integrity and security of your personal data and to implement their private settings. However, we cannot assure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit through DayCaddy at your own risk. Once we receive the transfer of your information, DayCaddy makes an effort in a commercially reasonable framework to guarantee the security of our systems. Note though that this is not a guarantee that information is not accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by the rupture of our physical, technical and administrative backup procedures.
To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (for example, the requirement of an individual password) to verify your identity before you can access your account. You are always responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal password, your account information and the access to your email communications from DayCaddy.

You can change your account information and preferences at any time by logging in. You have the right to request, inspect and to request correcting the inaccuracies of the information that DayCaddy has about you. If it is feasible and possible, DayCaddy will make these changes.
Above all, the protection of young children’s privacy is important. Therefore DayCaddy does not intentionally gathers and demands information from anyone under the age of 13 or does not intentionally allow them to register. If you are under 13, please do not send us any information about yourself. This includes your name, address, telephone number or email address. Persons under 13 are not allowed to provide DayCaddy personal information to or publish content on DayCaddy. If we find out that we have collected personal information of a child under the age of 13 without verification or parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
